With its release of Season 2’s second episode on the last day of the measurement period, HBO’s House of the Dragon found its way back onto Nielsen’s overall U.S. streaming ranking.
For the week of June 17, HotD racked up 1.23 billion minutes viewed on Max across 12 available episodes, which was good enough for No. 4 on the overall streaming chart — trailing Bridgerton, Your Honor and The Boys .
Netflix’s aforementioned Bridgerton again dominated Nielsen’s ranking of streaming originals, this time with just shy of 2.5 billion minutes viewed across 24 total episodes. It was again (and distantly) followed by Prime Video’s The Boys (1.3 billion minutes viewed/28 available episodes), and then Netflix’s Perfect Match (596 million minutes/22 episodes), Netflix’s Sweet Tooth (547 million minutes/24 episodes) and the chart return of Love Island (382 million minutes viewed for 185 episodes across, Hulu, Netflix and Peacock).
Rounding out the Top 10 streaming originals for the week of June 17 were Evil (369 million minutes viewed across Paramount+ and Netflix), Hulu’s Perfect Wife: The Mysterious Disappearance of Sheri Papini (363 million minutes), Netflix’s America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders (354 million minutes), Paramount+’s Mayor of Kingstown (353 million minutes) and Netflix’s King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch (298 million minutes).
Among the shows falling out of the Top 10 originals ranking this week was Disney+’s The Acolyte , which charted in its first two weeks of eligibility and last ranked No. 6.
