Earlier this week, Post Malone hosted an event with Bud Light at Nashville's Marathon Music Works to showcase the songs on Malone's forthcoming album F-1 Trillion. During the show and hours following, the internet was swarmed with clips from the show highlighting unreleased songs and guest performances by Sierra Ferrell , Blake Shelton, HARDY , and Joe Nichols. An instant stand out from the evening was an unreleased solo track that Malone dedicated to his daughter . "Yours" is a sweet song about one day giving your daughter away on her wedding day and knowing that whoever they end up with, a father's love will always outweigh a partner's. Malone welcomed a baby girl into the world with his fiancé in 2022, and while both stay out of the public eye, listeners can tell that this baby girl changed Malone's world for the better. He first teased the song right before Father's Day, and fans instantly connected with it. The first lines highlight how a father feels before welcoming a baby into the world and quickly feeling a love for them unlike any other. Although he knows he is years and years away from giving his daughter away, he is already having thoughts about how hard it will be.
