    One inmate still at large after escape from Hancock County jail

    HANCOCK COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — A search is underway after several inmates escaped the Hancock County jail Thursday night.

    The inmates, identified as Casey Denim, Todd Carroll, Jason Holden Collins , John Benton III, and Adam Bailey, escaped around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday according to the sheriff’s department. Two of the five have been captured, Bailey and Benton III, while the sheriff’s department continues to search for the others.

    Denim and Carroll were captured Friday afternoon. Collins remains on the run.

    The remaining inmates are not thought to be armed. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the inmates or if anyone comes in contact with them can contact the Hancock Sheriff’s Department at 423-733-2249.
