New ‘Tex-Mex’ restaurant debuts in York County

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A new quick-service, ‘Tex-Mex’ restaurant recently made its debut in Western York County.

The new Poblano Tex-Mex Grill in York is owned and operated by Pablo Ayala, who officially debuted his new quick-service Mexican restaurant back on Wednesday, July 17.

Poblano Tex-Mex Grill is located at 2150 White Street suite 7, which was previously occupied by now relocated Marco’s Pizza.

Ayala says that he runs the Mexican-style restaurant in conjunction with his fiance, Lyshaell Ríos, who is the Head Chef of the new eatery.

According to Ayala, the new establishment will offer a wide variety of classic Mexican cuisines such as Tacos, Fajitas, Quesadillas, Nachos, Loaded Fries, and a lot more. Additionally, Poblano Tex-Mex Grill will have several different kinds of Salsas with varying levels of heat for guests to enjoy.

“I am happy to serve really great food with fresh ingredients,” Ayala explained. “I’m ready to showcase my Fiance’s recipes since she is the Chef.”

The new Mexican restaurant is capable of seating about 40 guests at a time. According to Ayala, his new restaurant is “quick service”, so guests will have their food brought to their table, but a soft drink fountain will be available for them to utilize themselves in order to speed up service.

Moving forward, the hours of operation for the new Poblano Tex-Mex Grill are:

• Tuesdays – Saturdays //12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Sundays // 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This is the first restaurant that Ayala has owned and operated.
