Former Jeopardy! champion Isaac Hirsch has lashed out at the show for their "very weird" social media post about game streaks.

The game show's X account shared a surprising post about Jeopardy!'s longest running streaks , just days after Isaac was eliminated after his ninth win. "Fun fact: No one has EVER won exactly 10 games in their original run on Jeopardy! Isn't that weird?" Jeopardy! wrote.

The words seemed to be a little too close to home for Isaac . He replied: "Yes, very... weird." Fans were quick to react to Isaac's comment, with one person writing: "This does feel targeted."

Another said: "Come back and fix that!!!! I already miss you." Isaac was eliminated just one game shy of a 10-game streak after making a major math mistake.

The champion started the game in a troubled position, stumbling into last place after struggling with a $3,000 fish Daily Double. Isaac finished the initial Jeopardy! round in third place, coming in at $400. Meanwhile, Erika had $600 and Jay was far in the lead with $7,800.

"You are in third place, I believe, for the first time in your run," host Ken Jennings pointed out. Going into the last round Jay was at a whopping $16,200, while Isaac trailed behind him on $15,300.

Both Jay and Isaac bet big on the Final Jeopardy!. Jay bet $14,401, while Isaac bet $14,000. Erika played it safe, betting $0. No one answered correctly for the final question, so each contestant except for Erika lost big.

Taking to Reddit, Isaac explained why he bet so much money. "Okay, so why did I wager $14,000?," he wrote. "The short answer is I did the math wrong. (Although I guess it’s kind of obvious based on how I spent the first minute after the game looking at my scratch paper in horror)."

He added: "I was trying to subtract 14,401 from 16,200, and somehow came up with 1300 instead of 1800 as the number I needed to arrive at if I got it wrong, hence the 14,000 wager."
