Fallout Season 2 Gets Exciting New Update

Fallout hit Prime Video in April this year and was an immediate triumph both for fans of the video game that inspired it and newcomers who didn't know much about the world.

Critics gave it 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, and it also landed itself a 90% audience rating, leading to season two getting confirmed just a week after the series hit Prime Video.

The streaming service made the announcement via social media, letting fans know that they'd be returning to the Wasteland for another chapter in the story, which takes place in a future, post-apocalyptic Los Angeles where citizens are living in underground bunkers to protect themselves from the threats.

Since then, updates on season two have been sparse, but in a new interview with Variety , the Amazon MGM Studios chief and head of TV teased that the season is "ahead of schedule" and while they don't yet "have an exact launch date" they have "already gotten scripts in hand".

So, things are coming together for season two, and Vernon Sanders (head of TV) said, "I think the fans of Season one will really love where we're going for Season two."

"We are fully committed," Jennifer Salke (Amazon MGM Studios chief) said, "we're all on this journey with the characters that we've met and loved in season one."
