After 100 days behind bars , former Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg is returning home to his family.

Weisselberg, who has worked for the Trump organization for nearly 50 years, pleaded guilty to lying under oath while giving testimony in former President Donald Trump’s 2023 civil fraud case, in which Trump was accused of exaggerating his wealth in an effort to be approved for a bank loan.

The 76-year-old admitted in March that he lied about how Trump’s Manhattan penthouse’s value was inflated on his financial statements. During his testimony, Weisselberg lied about his role in Trump’s Fifth Avenue triplex apartment being listed as three times its actual size on financial statements. The apartment, which is less than 11,000 square feet, was recorded as being 30,000 square feet.

In exchange for pleading guilty, prosecutors agreed they would not charge Weisselberg for any other crimes he might have committed while working at the Trump Organization.

He had already served 100 days for a five-month sentence after pleading guilty to 15 state crimes for evading $1.6 million in taxes.

"Allen Weisselberg accepted responsibility for his conduct and now looks forward to the end of this life-altering experience and to returning to his family and his retirement,” his attorney, Seth Rosenberg, said after he was sentenced in April.

Weisselberg had testified on behalf of Trump twice, in which both times he defended Trump.

In the civil fraud case, Judge Arthur Engoron ordered Trump to pay $464 million plus interest for altering his net worth for tax benefits. However, Trump paid a $175 million bond blocking the civil fraud judgment temporarily while he looks to appeal Engoron’s decision.
