Cheeseburger Garlic Bread is an easy dinner recipe the whole family will love! INGREDIENTS 1 lb ground beef 1 chopped onion 1/2 tsp each of salt and pepper 1 tsp each onion powder and paprika 1 TBSP minced garlic 1 box garlic bread Shredded cheddar cheese Burger Sauce (1/2 cup mayo, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/8 cup mustard, 1 TBSP sweet relish) 2 Chopped green onions INSTRUCTIONS Bake garlic bread in the oven following the directions on the package. I like to bake it a little bit longer than it calls for, so it is more toasted. Make homemade burger sauce by stirring together mayo, ketchup, mustard, and sweet relish. Set aside. Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium high heat and add all seasonings. Once the beef is browned, drain grease, and add minced garlic. Stir well. Add ground beef mixture on top of garlic bread. Add cheese on top and put back in the oven to melt the cheese. Top with the homemade burger sauce and some chopped green onions. Enjoy! #easyrecipes #easyfood #dinner #groundbeef #cheeseburger

Luke (@ cookinginthemidwest ) knocked this easy weeknight dinner out of the park! These savory open-face burgers have my mouth watering and my stomach rumbling. The rich garlic and butter flavor perfectly complements the meat, and there's something extra special about the combination of crispy bread and burger sauce. This easy dinner idea is perfect for those nights when you don't have the energy to make a lavish meal or haven't had time to hit the grocery store. After seeing this recipe, I'll never be without garlic bread in my freezer again.

    Easy Cheeseburger Garlic Bread

First, the garlic toast is baked while Luke cooks the ground beef, onion, and seasonings. Once both are ready, he uses a large spoon to make a depression in the crunchy garlic bread. Then he piles on a scoop of the cooked beef. He tops the meat with a generous handful of freshly shredded and places it back in the oven to melt. Then it's drizzled with homemade burger sauce and a few green onions.

Although it looks perfect as it is, this idea can be customized to suit any taste. Diced bacon, pickles, and caramelized onions could also make fun toppings. And while it may have all the primary ingredients of a traditional burger, this one doesn't require us to make the patties or spend the time cooking them. That's always a win during a busy week!

People were thrilled to see this simply brilliant recipe. Viewer @froggy responded, “You have literally saved me so many times on dinner. Thank you. I love your recipes.” This dad always shares the best ideas. Viewer @LizzyB shared, “I made them last night, but added pickles and jalapeños. So so good! My husband loved them!” A little heat sounds good. Viewer @Mo reported, “I just did this with Italian meatballs , sauce, and provolone, lol.” That's another delicious way to go.

I’m excited to add this recipe to the dinner rotation. It's easy, satisfying, and full of flavor—the perfect combination for any night of the week.
