“Better Than Half These Dudes In The League” – Las Vegas Raiders WR Davante Adams Wants Tom Brady To Un-Retire

Tom Brady should just go ahead and comeback - again - so we can all stop beating around the bush. Sure, the 7-time Super Bowl winner has a big broadcasting gig coming up this fall that will be paying him a cool $375 million. But if Brady really loves football, why wouldn't he come out of retirement for a second time to quarterback for a team that he himself is trying to buy an ownership stake in? He's already teased an NFL return in 2024... Football fans were fully expecting the talented Raiders wide receiver to reunite with his former teammate Aaron Rodgers in New York after the Jets QB made an interesting comment last week about Adams. Though this recent interview that Davante did with Shannon Sharpe paints a different picture. Adams joined the Club Shay Shay podcast and was very interested when Sharpe brought up the possibility of Tom Brady quarterbacking the Raiders. It was almost as if Davante was waiting for the topic to come up, because as soon as it did, the 6-time Pro-Bowler immediately started recruiting Brady to the Raiders: "Hell yes. When you said ‘Tom Brady’ I knew what you’re saying ‘lemme see what he’s about to say’ and then you got to talking about how old he is... Tom knows about how I feel about him, man. The other part about it is I think I’d be the first person to play with Tom and Aaron (Rodgers). So that’d be pretty cool." That would be something for Adams to hang his hat, or helmet, on. As for the concern that Brady is getting too old to play football (he'll turn 48 in August), Davante Adams doesn't see that as a problem at all: "He’s getting older, but he’s gotta still be able to throw it better than half these dudes in the league." Well... that comment will make things awkward if Brady doesn't end up coming back, and Adams is stuck with either Aidan O'Connell and Gardner Minshew.
