Heather Rae El Moussa Is Accused of ‘Baiting’ Fans After Posting an Ultrasound Photo: ‘Guess What!’

People are not happy with Heather Rae El Moussa’s recent Instagram video. The Selling Sunset star is being accused of “baiting” and tricking people after she posted an ultrasound photo that made followers think she was expecting baby number two with husband Tarek El Moussa.

“GUESS WHAT!!!!!! 🧸🧸🧸” she captioned the video , which began with a strip of ultrasound photos showing a baby inside a womb. The clip immediately jumped to Tarek hugging Heather Rae and holding onto her baby bump, then a picture of a newborn baby. Because while it really seemed like she was announcing a pregnancy (I thought so too!!!), she was actually just reminiscing on the fact that her son Tristan is almost 18 months old.

The video is cute seeing Tristan growing up throughout the months, dressing like a cowboy, playing with bubbles, and celebrating his first birthday. “Tristan is almost a year and a half. Our sweet boy … Time FLIES!! 😭😭” she added in the comment. “From belly to one year. Over a year of love, laughter, and endless memories with our precious little Tristan Bear (he’s 17 months now).”

Because of the little prank she played in the beginning of the caption and video, fans were less than impressed. “Everyone thought the same, disappointed in the baiting. Unfollowing,” one person wrote. Another comment, which received over 5.4k likes, said. “thought this was another announcement.”

Her Selling Sunset co-star Maya Vander said, “Omg I saw the ultrasound photos and I was like what????” Someone else said, “Thought this was an announcement, slightly disappointed 🙈 But happy year & a half!”

Recently, Heather Rae has addressed some questions about whether she will have another baby with Tarek. “I get asked this a lot, I think it’s just a natural question,” she said in an Instagram Q&A last month. “We already have one amazing, adorable baby and I’m obsessed with him.”

The Flipping El Moussas star, who is also stepmom to Tarek’s kids Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 9, who he shares with ex Christina Hall, continued, “And Tristan’s an easy baby, you guys. I love everything about it,” she said. “I love everything about being a mom. So it does make me want more kids.”

“But then a lot of people have said you have one angel baby and the second one ends up being like a terror. So that would probably happen to me but you know what? Whatever. So I don’t know, we’ll see. You never know what’s going to happen,” she added.

You never know! Maybe her next ultrasound picture will be a pregnancy announcement!
