    Man United forced to delay 2024/25 ticket release after IT outage

    Manchester United are the latest Premier League club to be impacted by global tech crash.

    Major IT outages on Windows operating services have caused global disruption in the last 24 hours with a host of services disrupted including football clubs.

    Due to the issues, United have been forced to change their original plan for ticket releases on July 19, with a fresh date now confirmed for Monday July 22.

    The change impacts season ticket holders and United fan members looking to buy tickets for the upcoming Premier League 2024/25 campaign.

    A statement from Manchester United's Matchday social media account confirmed: 'Unfortunately, due to a global Microsoft Servers outage which is affecting many systems, including ours, this morning’s ticket release is be postponed until midday.

    This message was later updated to confirm the 'ticket release has been postponed until 10am (UK time) on Monday 22nd July'.

    Manchester United are preparing for the new season with a packed schedule of warm up games for Erik ten Hag's team.

    After losing 1-0 to Rosenborg in their opening preseason game , the Red Devils take on Rangers in Glasgow on July 20, before a tour of the USA with clashes against Arsenal, Real Betis and Liverpool.

    They will face rivals Manchester City in the FA Community Shield on August 10 before kicking off the new season at home to Fulham on August 16.
