Floyd Mayweather Shares New Private Jet with Fans on Instagram: ‘I Play with This One In the Sky’

Is there anything Floyd Mayweather cannot afford? After appearing at a recent WNBA game with a bag of money beside him, Mayweather took to Instagram to show off his most recent purchase: another jet.

“I just copped/ bought another toy, but I play with this one in the sky. I’m going to continue to set the bar high while they continue to pray on my downfall,” Mayweather said in a recent Instagram caption. “I’m going to stay on my grind. Either you hate it or you motivated. 2 planes give them 2 more small reasons to hate!”

Known as the Air Mayweather 2, the Gulfstream III private jet is black and white with “Mayweather” written in red across the plane’s fuselage. The initials “ TMT ,” for Mayweather’s brand, The Money Team, appear on the jet’s tail.

Air Mayweather 2 is built for luxury travel. The jet has twelve beige leather seats with black and red pillows with a monogrammed “M” on the headrest. There are also black tables for workspaces and dining. Throughout the jet’s interior are signature accents such as golden cup holders.

Money Is Not A Problem

Mayweather, who is considered the wealthiest boxer in history, is worth an estimated $400 million. He began his professional career in 1996 and won six boxing championships. What makes Mayweather so unique as a boxer was his ability to fight in five weight classes, including super featherweight, lightweight, junior welterweight, welterweight twice, and super selterweight.

No matter the weight class, Mayweather had an unblemished an unblemished record, one that eventually tallied 50 wins, with 27 by knockout. His highest-paid fight came in 2018 when he fought Conor McGregor for $30 million. In addition, endorsement deals with brands such as Hublot, Burger King and FanDuel also enhanced the fighter’s net worth.

Outside the ring, Mayweather generates additional income with his brands Mayweather Promotions and The Money Team.

In total, Mayweather’s career earnings are reported to be $1.1 billion.

Mayweather’s wins in the ring have afforded him quite a few luxuries. From fleets of cars to homes in Las Vegas and Beverly Hills, Mayweather is not scared to show his wealth. His recent private jet purchase is in addition to another plane purportedly purchased for $50 million in 2014, a Gulfstream G650. Mayweather used the plan to travel to countries such as Hong Kong, Bali, Tokyo, Monte Carlo and Fiji.
