If you have a dog, chances are you are either trying to teach them to not jump on things, or to be able to jump up on things. One dog parents of an adorable Yorkie solved this issue by teaching their pup how to parallel park when he wants to come up.

Just check out what this little sweetheart does when he wants up!

The adorable video was shared by the TikTok account for @ Yuzutheyorkie and people think this little guy is brilliant. One person commented, "Seems it’s a thing
. My little Yorkie does the same, so cute!" Another added, "My chihuahua does this exact move." Someone else said, "Reminds me of my Snowball!! She used to do the same in the middle of the night cause she want to sleep with me." And, most infuriatingly, someone commented, "My Pomeranian does this to the word " uppies ."

I do not want to hear it.

So here's the deal, we have a Pomeranian. He's basically my kid's Pomeranian and when she goes out of town he sleeps in our bed, because she never crate-trained him. So what this dog will do, is that when the cats come in the room he loses his marbles and jumps off our bed, especially with one of our cats because this cat is technically his cat and he adores her and can't be without her.

So, the dog jumps off the bed and yeah, you guessed it, he can't get back up. So I say " Uppies " and he barks, and then he puts his front paws on the bed, and when I lean down to pick him up (usually at 3 am) he runs away barking.

So he wants uppies but he won't come uppies . So he makes me stagger out of bed and walk to him to pick him up. Sorry, love this dog but it's so annoying!

It's hard for small dogs to climb.

Well, ideally, you have a smart dog so when you teach them the command for uppies they know to stop and let you pick them up. I'm going to keep working on this but use more treats as incentive. You can use dog stairs to help your small or elderly dog climb on your bed or sofa. You can also train them to use a dog ramp .

Here's a helpful lesson in teaching your pup to jump using progressively taller objects for them to jump on. Before you know it they will be doing uppies in no time!
