    ‘Serious’ crash shuts down roads in Cumberland County

    CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Drivers in Cumberland County are being asked to avoid an area after a “serious” crash, according to officials.

    The Cumberland County Department of Public Safety posted on Facebook that York Road (Route 74) and Boiling Springs Road in Monroe Township are closed for a crash Friday afternoon.

    Drivers are asked to find different routes for travel.

    State Police and the Monroe Fire Department are among the first responders at the scene.
