Pedranti revealed in the Season 18 premiere that she was getting evicted from the rental Kirschenheiter, a licensed real estate agent, helped her obtain. The yoga instructor said she was $24,000 behind on rent as her ex-husband was taking “a long time to turn in financials.”
But from Kirschenheiter’s perspective, Pedranti falling behind on her payments was a poor reflection on her reputation as a new agent.
When they met up to hash out their issues in last night’s episode, Kirschenheiter became heated when Pedranti showed up in full glam and what she described as “very nice new clothes.” The New York native yelled at Pedranti to “grow up” and “pay [her] bills” before storming off and calling her “pathetic.”
“Watching that back for me was hard, truly,” Pedranti told DECIDER ahead of the episode. “I respect Gina a lot, and so that was a hard time.”
Pedranti, who finally settled her divorce this week, explained more about what her financial arrangement with her ex-husband looked like at the time of her eviction.
“I had a debit card and he was paying everything,” she said. “So if I needed gas, it was a text message, ‘Can you move money over?’ If I needed groceries, ‘Can you move money over?’ So when the rent starts not getting paid, I was just at a complete loss, right? I didn’t know — where was that going to come from?”

Things between Pedranti and Kirschenheiter might’ve ended on a sour note at the end of the episode, but the former offered a sign of hope for what’s to come in their friendship.
“That is the one thing I can say I love about Gina, among many things,” Pedranti said. “We can go at it and she has very strong opinions, but she will come back and she will have a conversation.”
Once she realized Kirschenheiter’s point of view, she insisted that she “would never come at” her friend’s career.
“I was being evicted, where do I go? I’m heightened. [Kirchenheiter’s] like, ‘What is she doing to my career? She’s knocking me off everything I’ve built [for] me and my kids,'” Pedranti explained. “So when we sit down as two women — I love you, I love you. I’m sorry, I’m sorry. It was awesome.”
