Wolverine Takes Out A Coyote On Alaskan Man’s Doorstep

What a beast… Wolverines have a reputation of being the most fierce animal in North America, some would even call them the pound-for-pound best predators around. These medium sized animals generally weight about 25 pounds, but can reach 55 pounds at the heaviest, and are about 3 feet in length. Despite their relatively compact size, they will go up against animals that are 4 times larger than them without question. These beasts will eat anything from dead animals to berries or even hunt larger prey like deer. They move fast, travel far and attack with power. They do it all in the harshest of conditions often living in the mountains or even tundra. When it comes to an even match on paper, a coyote doesn’t look that bad compared to a wolverine. They reach around 50 pounds in size and are known predators as well, hunting for many of their meals. But they ain’t anywhere close to wolverines when it comes to skill and ferocity. Think of it like a professional MMA fighter vs your run of the mill college football athlete. You probably don't want to mess with either one, but head to head, there's a clear winner. And this wolverine proved it for these folks in Alaska. At 4 in the morning an Alaskan man heard some wild noises and went out to see a wolverine fighting a coyote right on his back deck. They even got the video to go with it... the man has pictures of the crime seen with blood sprayed across the snow. The wolverine is seen running off with the coyote with ease, even though its about the same size, and it appears that it was short work for the wolverine. Only in Alaska…
