Steph Curry’s ‘Not Like Us’ Hate Is Real: “It’s Not The Only Song In America”

K endrick Lamar ‘s anthemic hit “Not Like Us” currently sits atop the Billboard Hot 100, so the track’s clearly got a lot of fans, but Steph Curry isn’t one of them.

Team USA is currently running through its competition in preparation for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris , and most recently defeated Serbia in an exhibition game, 105-79.

Prior to the game, Team USA was chatting at center court when the DJ Mustard -produced track began blaring from the stadium’s speakers, leading to Curry complaining.

“Damn with this song,” Curry quips. “It’s not the only song in America.”

LeBron James smiles and says, “I love it,” as Anthony Edwards appears to dance to the song.

While not the only song in America, it did cap off one of the most infamous beefs in Hip-Hop history, though Drake’s attempt to rebuttal with “The Heart Part 6” fell flat.

James and Curry’s debating takes on another element because both superstars played small parts in the beef as they were named in “Meet the Grahams,” where K. Dot laments Drake’s creep allegations.

“Ayy, LeBron, keep the family away, hey, Curry, keep the family away. To anybody that embody the love for their kids, keep the family away,” he rapped.

Drake and Curry are noted friends. The former has named-dropped the sharpshooter several times over the years and even hitched a ride on the Golden State Warriors team plane in 2021.

LeBron, on the other hand, is a Drake fan and even had him exclusively speak about his Pusha T beef on The Shop . However, since the Kendrick Lamar rift erupted, he was spotted at his Juneteenth The Pop Out concert in LA among a bunch of other NBA players like Russell Westbrook, James Harden, and DeMar DeRozan.

Curry led the game against Serbia with 24 points. The team faces South Sudan this weekend and Germany on Monday before heading to Paris.
