Latto Shares Whether She’d Trade “Full Diss Records” Or Rap Battle Ice Spice

Latto is letting it be known whether she’d step in the rap ring with Ice Spice . Fans on both sides have long speculated that the rappers have BEEN throwing shots at each other in their music. Now, the Atlanta artist says she isn’t sure Spice would be up to trading “full diss records” at this point!

Latto Says She & Ice Spice Are In Separate Lanes

The ‘Big Energy’ rapper stood on her talent and kept her comments about rap battling Ice Spice cute, saying she intends no shade. She shared that she would want a fierce competitor to spit against, someone she can go tit-for-tat with.

Billboard first published her comments in a Q&A interview.

“If I was to do [a battle], it would have to be with somebody I feel like imma go tit for tat with. I really don’t mean it as shade. Would she even want to do that? I feel like she’s doing her in her lane. It’s two different types of vibes. I don’t even think she gives me like, ‘Oh, she wants to engage in an actual rap beef.’ Everybody gon’ take their lil jabs in the music, and it’s not even that serious to me; I feel like you should do that. Continue to! But as far as actual whole dis records to each other, I don’t think she would even want to do that. I feel like… would it even make sense? It wouldn’t.”

Ice Spice hasn’t responded directly to the comments on her social media platforms. Her private life was in the headlines most recently, as photos suggested a romance with British rapper Central Cee.

Rundown Of The Rappers’ Buzzing Beef

While speaking with Billboard, Latto suggested that all rappers will experience “jabs” in the industry. The Atlanta and Bronx rappers have definitely been in social media talks regarding female rappers beefing!

Last month, fans thought Latto was teasing Spice by posting a photo of a poop emoji cake with the caption, “Think I’m the sh*t, b***h???” Before then, Spice seemingly responded after Latto’s music snippet featured her music video in the background. At one point, Latto pulled up and filmed a music video in the Bronx.
