The Dallas Cowboys social media team scored a big W on Friday afternoon by dropping an awesome post a lot of football fans will greatly appreciate.

In case you're not familiar with the news, there's a huge celebration going on among football fans following the release of EA Sports' videogame "College Football 25."

Before you roll your eyes and sigh, keep in mind why it's been such a huge deal: Fans have been waiting for the game for 10 years after the iconic series was suspended to name, image, and likeness trouble.

To give you a better idea of the hype level surrounding the game, EA Sports charged $30 on top of the standard price of $70 for early access and pulled 700,000 players on the first day. It's set to be one of the most successful videogame releases of the year, something uncommon for a sports game.

On the day of the game's official release date, the Cowboys made sure to join the party with a custom-made graphic of the game's cover showing three players that will be very familiar to Dallas fans:  CeeDee Lamb, Ezekiel Elliott, and Dak Prescott. All are rocking their collegiate uniforms and numbers, however.

Before you take out your credit card, the Cowboys are just having some fun with this. There's not really a Dallas Edition of the videogame that you can purchase.

But as we await next week's training camp , it's cool to see the team hopping on the online hype train that this videogame has created.

Now, please excuse me while I take on the reins of SMU's football program and turn them into National Champions in under two seasons on my copy of the game. Good thing is I can pay these guys now and no 30 for 30 will be made about my recruiting practices.
