The 6000th episode of The View kicked off to a humorous start as Joy Behar ‘s phone decided to steal the limelight from the hosts.

The longtime host had barely gotten a few words in before her phone started ringing, echoing Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” throughout the studio. Who doesn’t love a little morning throwback to kick off your day?

“Okay, thank you! Hello out there, and welcome to The View . [Donald] Trump took the stage last night as the headline act of the RNC, where he accepted the nomination from the party,” Behar began, right before her phone stole the show.

Behar immediately fumbled with her device, saying, “oh my god” continuously as she tried to silence it. Viewers saw a helpful hand — presumably deskmate Sara Haines — grab the phone out of Behar’s grip after she silenced it so she could continue with her introduction.

Of course, this is not the first time Behar’s phone has humorously interrupted live filming.

Back in March of this year, Behar’s phone went off during a show, but not to a sound quite as catchy as Jepsen’s music. In a more heated segment about a stay-at-home girlfriend trend circulating around TikTok, Behar’s phone once again blared through the studio.

‘The View’ Appalled By Chris Christie’s Claim That He Doesn’t “Have To” Vote In The 2024 Presidential Election: “You’re Going To Sit This One Out?!”

“It makes no sense,” Alyssa Farah Griffin was saying. “You always need to have your own money as a woman. And by the way, also have your own interests and aspirations. Being—” but her sentence was cut off there by the familiar ringing.

    “Joy,” Griffin said, mocking disappointment.

“Joy, where do you have to be, where do you have to be, Joy?” Sunny Hostin added, jokingly grilling Behar.

Behar finally laughed at the situation and admitted that it was a clock timer she had set.

November 2022 saw a similar incident involving the Daytime Emmy winner. Her ringtone, this time set to You Can Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac , overtook her speech as Haines and Hostin, the show’s resident phone experts, lept into action to silence the device, with Hostin going as far as to bring the phone backstage during the live program.

Needless to say, Behar has certainly earned herself a new superlative at the table for “Noisiest Phone.”

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
