‘Dance Moms: A New Era’ Trailer Delivers Fresh “Mama Drama”: “Did You Just Call Her A B****?”

The curtain’s almost up on Dance Moms: A New Era , and fans were just given a first look at dance coach Gloria “Glo” Hamtpon’s tireless pursuit of a national title for her dance school, Studio Bleu.

“I’m the coach of the next big team,” she says in the official trailer for the Dance Moms reboot. “In six short weeks, we’re going to Nationals. We are in no way ready for that.”

In the new trailer, which dropped on Thursday (July 18), fans also meet the dancers, who, as one of them put it, must “prove” themselves to Hampton to maintain their spot on the team. Their mothers are well aware of this too, as one mom highlights that she needs to keep her daughter “on track.”

Rest assured that there will be new “mama drama,” as promised in both the teaser trailer and new trailer. Viewers got a sneak peek at the fresh fights, as one mother insists, “You’re jealous, you’re jealous, you’re jealous.”

Another warns, “You want to party? Then come play.”

“You’re a bitch,” one says, as another fires back, “Did you just call her a bitch?”

Two mothers even find themselves in a physical altercation, as one yells, “I dare you to come at me!” prompting the other to push her face out of the way.

But when it comes to the fighting, Hampton is not here for it.

“I’m over it,” she laments. “Do you see these children? This is all I care about right now.”

However, the drama doesn’t seem to exclude Hampton, as viewers see her tell one of the dance moms, “Get out of my room! You’re done.”

Hampton, who made appearances in Seasons 3 and 4 of the flagship Lifetime reality series, concedes that she’s “really scared” for the “dance world” to see this group of dancers “for the first time.”

“I know what you’re capable of, but if you’re not pulling your weight, you won’t be dancing this week,” she tells her dancers.

In a confessional alongside her daughter, one mom says, “Over my dead body is my kid gonna be cut.” And tensions are high after a dancer is injured, sparking talk among the moms.

“Are you saying she was a little extra when she hurt herself?” one mom asks, to which another replies, “She might’ve been.”
