ECISD highlights progress of several projects at Bond Committee meeting

ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – The Ector County ISD’s Bond Oversight Committee met on Tuesday to discuss updates surrounding the ongoing 2023 Bond program. Key points of the discussion included the five-year project calendar, which outlines the timeline for upcoming initiatives and the financial aspects of the Bond program.

The list of projects included in the plan includes a Career and Technical Education Center, an Agricultural Farm, a Transition Learning Center, Permian High School renovations, as well as middle school upgrades. Administrators are also planning for a new middle school.

The Committee reviewed land acquisition progress and received an update regarding architectural and engineering design. Updates to individual project progress was also shared, highlighting milestones achieved and challenges faced.
