Google, CMA CGM announce partnership

Google and French-based CMA CGM, a logistics solutions provider, recently announced a strategic partnership to accelerate the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) throughout CMA CGM’s operations.

The technology will ensure every program and tool developed within the partnership will assist users in the decision-making process, resulting in faster and more responsive customer service. The partnership is part of a CMA CGM strategy to transform its business through AI innovation.

CEVA Logistics, the logistics arm of CMA CGM, will focus first on a smart warehouse management tool built on Google technology that will allow the company to better anticipate and plan its operations using volume and demand forecasting.

CMA CGM serves more than 420 ports on five continents.
