Nia Jax addresses viral ‘BBL Bayley’ accusation following clapback from WWE Women’s Champion

When Nia Jax nearly broke the internet on last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown by accusing Bayley of being “BBL Bayley” in a scathing promo, the champion refused to turn the other cheek, so to speak. She fired back at Jax on social media, making it known she was “born like this” and added a middle wink-kiss and middle finger emoji for added oomph.

Anyone who’s even remotely followed the illustrious and longtime wrestling career of Bayley knows she’s always been favorably designed by The Creator, and Jax found out the hard way just how passionate WWE fans are about defending Bayley and her curvatures.

LOOK: BAYLEY CLAPS BACK AT JAX OVER BBL COMMENT

Some days later, the 2024 Queen of the Ring is walking back the attack, after admitting Bayley’s portion of the promo hit a nerve that led to the comment.

"I was just saying the obvious,” Jax told the Battleground podcast , via Fightful. “I just kind of thought of it because Bayley and I have such a history, going way back into NXT. It’s been a solid decade of me and Bayley.

“We’ve never been able on the main roster to have a real good interaction of promo and storytelling. When we got in there, and she brought up the injuring [me] and all this stuff, it just hit me.”

And in that instant, “BBL Bayley” was born and, minutes later on social media, it died a brutal and unforgiving death.

“I was literally saying the obvious,” said Jax. “What everybody has known for her to have — I have known Bayley long to know that is an all-natural, beautiful Brazilian booty, Latina.”

The lie detector test determined that is the truth.

Jax went on to intimate that she and Bayley are good on a personal level, despite the vitriol being heaved between the two ahead of their match at Summerslam on Aug. 3 in Cleveland for the WWE Women’s Championship belt..

“Knowing her for as long as I have and seeing her character develop, I think she’s been more embracing of her God-given talents,” said Jax. “So I just stated the obvious.”

It’s possible the two will square off in one more promo on the penultimate episode of SmackDown leading into Summerslam and, as it stands, there is no way to tell what the next insult between the two will look like.

And that’s why we’ll all tune in to find out.
