Former WWE Star Looks Noticeably Smaller In Recent Photo

While Batista proved during his WWE career to be far more than just a musclehead, it’s undeniable that his impressive physical appearance got him his foot in the door. However, having retired from the ring and now focusing on acting, he has clearly significantly changed his gym routine. This is evident in a new photo being shared online showing him backstage at The Tonight Show looking much smaller than in his wrestling prime.

55-year-old Batista, whose real name is David Bautista Jr., initially tried to break into the wrestling business back in 1999 via the WCW Power Plant but was told by trainer Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker that he didn’t have what it took to make it. Obviously, he would go on to prove the former WCW enhancement talent wrong, and he won six world championships and headlined WrestleMania twice in two different decades. Therefore, it is expected that it will be just a matter of time before he is inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, although it will be interesting to see whether he decides to bulk up to appear in front of wrestling fans again.
