WWE superstar, legend Kevin Owens gives positive update on ill mother

With so much bad happening around the world, a bit of good news is always the right medicine, and Kevin Owens is the deliverer of that positivity this week. The WWE superstar made it known ahead of Money in the Bank that he would help WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and “The Viper” Randy Orton combat The Bloodline in Toronto despite a very trying personal matter.

His mother was ill, so much so that she had to be rushed to the hospital where she’s been ever since; and Owens essentially dedicated his MITB match to her by saying she’d be pissed if The Prizefighter didn’t go do what she taught him to do: to fight.

Meanwhile, she was doing the same, and Owens dropped a huge update on her status in three powerful words.

“She kicked out,” he wrote.

It’s sensational news for Owens’ mother and his family as a whole.

Absent from last week’s episode of SmackDown as he remained in Canada with his family, it’s unclear when Owens will return to action, but that’s the least of anyone’s worries at the moment — including within the WWE. All of the focus was on wishing for the best possible outcome to his mother’s condition, and she’s now on the mend.
