As Mountain State Spotlight reporters have traveled the state in recent months, we’ve heard from West Virginians all across the state that they struggle to access clean water.

In Ritchie County, the discovery of pollution in drinking water sources has residents worried about how officials will improve their aging water systems.

In the southern coalfields, some West Virginians don’t have access to clean water or sewage systems , while others still face the consequences of pollutive legacy industries .

We want to hear from people facing these issues to inform our future stories about the state’s water access and quality concerns.

    If you’ve…

    • had to buy bottled water instead of using your tap
    • had a well dry out or collapse
    • have smelly or discolored water
    • haul water or experience other water-related issues

…we want to hear from you.

    Fill out the form below.
