    3600 off-road vehicles recalled over crash concerns

    (WJW) – Thousands of off-road vehicles have been re c alled due to crash and tipping concerns that left at least one rider injured.

    On Thursday, manufacturer CFMoto recalled roughly 3,600 ZFORCE 950 HO Sport Side-by-Side Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles (ROVs) that were sold nationwide between March 2022 and June 2024.

    The ROVs were sold in gray, orange and tan for roughly $14,000.

    According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission , “the shock absorber rod assembly can unthread and detach, causing suspension collapse, posing crash and tip-over hazards to the rider.”

    Warning issued for flea and tick collar sold in Ohio

    The company has received around 86 incident reports, including at least one case where a rider injured their ribs when the ROV tipped over, the CPSP said.

    Owners should stop using the recalled vehicles right away and set up an appointment with an authorized CFMoto dealer for a free repair.
