Scott McTominay's future at Manchester United remains uncertain as his contract is set to expire next summer .

The Scottish international has caught the attention of Turkish side Galatasaray, but United has swiftly dismissed early offers for him. Despite his contract ending next year, the Premier League club holds the option to extend it for an additional year.

Last year, United rejected a bid from West Ham, highlighting McTominay's importance and value to the squad. Following this, he had an impressive season, scoring 10 goals and playing a key role in the FA Cup final victory over Manchester City .

However, according to Sky Sports Germany - via the Manchester Evening News - Galatasaray hasn't given up on its pursuit of McTominay and see him as its ideal midfield solution. The Turkish team believe the player would be receptive to a move.

Negotiations have begun with United and communication between the two clubs continues. Reports suggest that United are asking for a fee of £25 million ($32.3 million) - which Galatasaray considers excessive. Meanwhile, United has agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain's Manuel Ugarte, potentially pushing Casemiro or McTominay towards the exit.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is keen to build a younger, more dynamic team at United. The future of Casemiro at Old Trafford is unclear, with persistent rumours linking him with a move to Saudi Arabia following another disappointing season.

Liverpool.com says: McTominay might not be the most glamorous player at Old Trafford, but he's an incredibly useful player. Ten Hag would be foolish to let the Scotland international leave this summer.
