Brenda Lee is more than the singer who recorded “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” She’s also a history-making artist. At 79 years old, she is the oldest woman to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Lee released a deep catalog of hits over the course of her career. Later this year, fans will be able to hear all of those hits in one place when she releases her Greatest Hits collection.

The 15-track collection contains all of Lee’s biggest hits including “I’m Sorry,” “Sweet Nothin’s,” and “That’s All You Gotta Do,” among others. The album will drop on September 20. It will be available across all digital platforms. Additionally, fans can buy the collection on CD as well as on a blue marble color vinyl pressing.

“These songs are really the gems that make up the soundtrack to my early career,” Lee said of the songs on the forthcoming album. “I just love that fans, old and new, will now have the opportunity to listen to this music again,” she added.

A Look at the Tracklist of Brenda Lee’s Greatest Hits Collection

“Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” was arguably Brenda Lee’s biggest hit. It was also her first No. 1. However, it doesn’t appear on the Greatest Hits album. Instead, Lee compiled her non-seasonal hits for the release. While it doesn’t feature the classic Christmas song, it does include some landmark songs.

For instance, the album contains “Sweet Nothin’s.” The song was Lee’s first non-season top-10 hit. The second single from her self-titled 1959 album, the song peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The collection also includes “I’m Sorry,” the 1960 single was her first non-Christmas No. 1.
