    Tipline created, public’s help requested after York County missing man found dead

    YORK COUNTY, S.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Authorities are asking for the public’s help to find out what led up to the death of 26-year-old Zachary Patterson.

    A friend dropped Patterson off near the Lesslie Fire Department where he was last seen. He was first reported missing on May 11. Patterson’s body was later found near North Burris Road and Traylor Road.

    A death investigation has been launched, and detectives are working to find out how Patterson got to the Sharon area from Lesslie.

    A tipline has been created for Patterson’s case. Anyone with information is asked to call 803-280-6246. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers of York County .
