Target Is Selling a 'Super Cute' $36 Denim Romper So Similar to an Anthropologie Style Almost 4x the Price

Rompers are great for several reasons; you can dress them up or down, plus they get rid of the hassle of figuring out two separate parts of an outfit. And if you’re not into dresses, a romper is a nice alternative for the summer when a jumpsuit might be too hot. One of Target ’s more recent rompers caught our attention as a great end-of-summer outfit. Plus, it looks a lot like an Anthropologie style that is nearly four times the price.

We’re talking about the Women's Short Sleeve Denim Romper by Target’s women’s apparel brand, Universal Thread, which is currently $36. This listing is only for the olive green color, though there are similar rompers elsewhere on their site that are the same design just in different washes or fabrics. This one has short sleeves (like its name says) and shorts, making it a nice romper for warmer days. Also as its name suggests, it has a denim fabric made with “midweight cotton-lyocell blend fabric” and a “poplin lining.”

Women's Short Sleeve Denim Romper - Universal Thread Olive Green , $36 at Target

In terms of the style of this romper, it has a classic half-length button-down front and a collar. There are “multiple pockets” including two breast pockets, and two front and back pockets each. Speaking of the waist, the romper cinches there and it comes with a front-tie sash that puts a cute finish on the overall look. And shoppers seem to really like this one already.

"I just love this romper,” one reviewer wrote. “...These would look great with a pair of sandals sneakers or boots. I would probably leave several buttons open and wear it with a cute tank underneath."

Another person simply commented that it’s a “pretty color, and flattering romper” and one person called it a “lovely green jumpsuit.”

The style of this romper is nearly identical to Target’s; it is a short-sleeved, button-down romper with shorts for the bottom, a collar and a cinched waist. The moss color is also similar to Target’s olive green. It only has one breast pocket but does have others like two front and back pockets. It doesn’t have a sash and the sleeves are a little puffed, but otherwise, it’s comparable to Target’s.
