FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Intermittent traffic impacts are expected for some areas of Highway 43 due to ongoing work on a high-speed rail structure, according to the California High-Speed Rail Authority.

The intermittent traffic impacts along Highway 43 will be done between Davis Avenue and Cole Slough in Fresno County, according to the Authority and the design-build contractor Dragados-Flatiron Joint Venture (DFJV).

Officials say work is scheduled from 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, July 22, and Tuesday, July 23.

Officials say the work is part of the Construction Package 2-3, the 65-mile stretch of high-speed rail between East American Avenue in Fresno County and one mile north of the Tulare-Kern County line.
