YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — With the York State Fair now underway, people are out and about enjoying the festivities that includes some familiar ,and different, animal faces.

Who ever said learning can’t be fun? The animals are there to teach attendees facts about wildlife, and while you may not see a elephant or a kangaroo at the fair, you can see, for the first time every at the fair, a sloth named Mash.

“He’ll be part of the wildlife experience and reptiles where people can get a chance to learn about the facts,” wildlife conservationist Jim DeBerry said. “Get this, what he eats today will take 30 days to process through his body.”
