LeBron James is sending a message to all of his supporters and admirers, many of whom might be in professional or even competitive sports, showing them the level of mentality they need to have if they want to experience the joy of winning, and sustained success like he has for years.
As for his second story, James used his own quote to remind fans exactly what his motivation is every time he steps on the court. This motivation has taken him a long way, especially in the latter years of his career, where he has established himself as one of the best-performing veterans in NBA history.
Despite being close to 40 years old, LeBron James is still one of the best players in the world. James continues to put up incredible numbers on a nightly basis in the league. Last season, LeBron averaged 25.7 points, 8.3 assists, and 7.3 rebounds, while playing 71 games for the Los Angeles Lakers.
James will be entering his 21st season in the NBA next year. But before that, he will be one of the leaders for Team USA as they look to win a fifth consecutive gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Despite being at the tail end of his career, James continues to play some of the best basketball of his career.
There is no denying that James is the best player in the NBA in the 2000s. His incredibly consistent level of play, along with his sensational accolades, has cemented his place as the greatest player in the NBA since the turn of the century.
Since joining the NBA, James has been an award magnet, winning several accolades, both team-based and individual awards during his career. LeBron James has won 4 NBA championships, 1 NBA Cup, 4 Finals MVPs, 4 regular season MVPs, 1 NBA Cup MVP, 20 All-Star selections, and 20 All-NBA selections.
The scary thing about LeBron James is that he is still going as one of the best players in the league. What he may have lost in athleticism due to age, he has made up for with experience, basketball IQ, and overall leadership. Perhaps James has at least one more NBA championship run in him before he calls time on his legendary career.
