Movie Magic Returns: Alamo Drafthouse Reopens Woodbury Theater

Great news for movie lovers in Woodbury! The Alamo Drafthouse theater is coming back to life. After closing suddenly three months ago, the popular cinema will reopen its doors on August 27.

What Happened?

The theater had to close when its owner ran into money troubles. But now, Sony Pictures has bought Alamo Drafthouse, and they're bringing movies back to Woodbury.

Reopening Celebration

To welcome everyone back, Alamo Drafthouse is offering some special deals.

For two weeks, movie tickets will cost only $5. Certain food and drinks will be 25% off.
People who bought tickets before the closure will get free tickets to make up for it.

What's Playing?

Get ready for some exciting new movies. The theater will show "Deadpool & Wolverine," "It Ends With Us," and "Alien: Romulus." Fans can also see "Blink Twice," which is the first movie directed by actress Zoe Kravitz.

Good News for Workers

Alamo Drafthouse wants to take care of its employees. They're holding a job fair on July 23.

Past workers will get paid what they were owed from before the closure. New job benefits include things like daily pay and mental health services.
