See sheep, goats, cattle, and more at the Hampshire County 4-H Fair

CUMMINGTON, Mass. (WWLP) – The 2024 Hampshire County 4-H Fair is being held on Saturday afternoon at the Cummington Fairgrounds.

At this fair, there will be activities such as animal exhibitions, crafts, food, and, a Touch-A-Truck event. The fair’s exhibit hall will feature clothing, quilting, posters, fruits and vegetables, flowers, woodworking, and more. This event is free and open to the public to enjoy.

The schedule for the fair is as follows:

• 8:00 – 4-H Food Booth by 4-H Exchange
• 9:00 – Fairgrounds open to the public
• 9:30 – Sheep Show
• 10:30 – Working Steer Show, Working Steer Show Ring
• 10:00 – Goat Show, Poultry Barn
• 10:00 – Rabbit/Cavy Show, Rabbit Barn
• 11:00 – Dairy Cattle Show, Cattle Show Ring
• 11:00 – Belchertown Police K9 Demo-Upper Drawing Ring
• 12:00 – Beef Show
• 12:00 – UMass Mounted Police Demo-Upper Drawing Ring
• 2:00 – Cow Plop Fundraiser- behind cattle barn
• 12:00-4:00 – Exhibit Hall Open

The fair will run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Cummington Fairgrounds. The 4-H program provides hands-on learning and education programs for children ages 5-18.
