The lakes listed here have receded to the no wake restriction threshold and have maintained and/or continued to recede for three consecutive days.

As of Saturday, July 20, the no wake restriction has been lifted on the following Le Sueur County Lakes: Gorman Lake; Lake Sakatah; Lake Tetonka; West Jefferson; Lake Emily; Middle Jefferson; East Jefferson; German Lake; Lake Francis; Rays Lake; Lake Volney.

A no wake restriction will remain in effect for Lake Washington, as water levels have not yet receded to the threshold level.

"No wake" is defined as operation of a watercraft at the slowest speed possible to maintain steerage, but in no case greater than 5 mph.

The Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office will continually monitor lake levels and will issue notice on our Facebook Page as soon as the restriction is lifted.
