Cats are notorious for tracking us down when they want something. It's no different for one stray feline who decided to cut into a woman's work meeting to demand another free meal.

A July 7, 2024 TikTok video shared by @missjadem744 shows the funny moment the cat screams for more food from outside a window while she's on a call. Watch the hilarity below!

"He doesn’t understand why he can’t be the host of the zoom meetings. Also he demands a second breakfast around 11:30am by screaming through the window as if he is starving," the caption says.

The dedicated stray can be seen standing outside the second floor window, screaming for the woman's attention.

"When my stray cat figured out my work schedule and now sits on my roof while I'm on Zoom meetings," the video adds.

Of the more than 97,000 followers, many decided this cat is no longer a stray now that he knows her work schedule!

"Oh, to be loved by a stray cat that will climb up a house for you," one person joked. "You're making him late for the meeting! Open the window before he fires you as his trusty assistant," another said. "I'm 90% sure that's not a stray that cat is just waiting for you to let him move his stuff in," another added.

This little guy's persistence is endearing. He may have just found his permanent home, thanks to all that begging!

Taking Care of a Stray Cat

Gaining the trust of a stray cat isn't always easy, so when they willingly choose you as their trusted human, it's quite an honor. Once you've earned their trust, it's important to make sure they aren't microchipped or belong to anyone before making them a part of your family.

PetMD explains adopting a stray pet should be done with care, so get them to the vet for an exam, vaccinations, and to be spayed or neutered. Cats that hang around your house or porch may have been an indoor cat at one time, so they may take to being indoors well.

The transition for others from outdoors full-time to indoors may take time, especially if they're accustomed to always being outside. If they'd rather not become an indoor housemate, provide shelter and fresh water in cool areas during hot weather.

It's hard to say if this particular cat once lived inside, but that doesn't matter now—he's chosen his new person!
