While there is no roadmap to breaking into the music industry, country singer Dasha is wasting no time trying to make a name for herself. Since stepping on the stage, the singer released numerous singles like “Better Than She Did”, “Don’t Mean a Thing”, and “7 Minutes In Heaven.” She also released two studio albums. Her last, What Happens Now? hit shelves back in February. Continuing to explore genres like pop and country, the singer recently discussed her childhood and how she grew up in a house with a ghost.

Every town seems to have that one house surrounded by rumors of haunting, ghosts, or some mysterious disappearance. Although kids love to tell stories of ghosts, Dasha didn’t need to tell ghost stories as she was living one. Appearing on the Taste of Country Morning with Wood and Nicole, the singer seemed thrilled to answer questions about the supernatural. When asked if she ever saw a ghost, the star explained how she grew up with one.

Dasha Had No Idea She Shared A Room With A Ghost

According to Dasha, it was her stepsister who shocked her when she described seeing a “little girl in a white nightgown” sitting on her bed. “It was this super haunted house. This family had died like 200 years ago when it was built of like some crazy fever, and this little girl had died in my room and I had no idea.” She continued that while she never saw the ghost, her stepsister swears to have seen the girl in the nightgown. Dasha’s stepsister even said the ghost of the little girl turned and looked at her.

Thankfully for Dasha, her stepsister decided to keep the ghost encounter a secret until they moved out. Finally away from the house, Dasha learned that while she thought she was alone in her room, she might have been sharing it with a ghost.

As for her career in the spotlight, Dasha made the most of 2024 with the release of her new album and even a performance at the 2024 CMT Awards. Performing “Austin” on stage, the singer received high praise from country music fans.
