Wisconsin DMV revokes three car dealer licenses for fraud

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Wis. -- The Wisconsin Department of Transportation announced Monday the Division of Motor Vehicles revoked the wholesale dealer licenses of three Columbia County dealers.

WisDOT said it revoked the licenses of A1 Alpha Motors, LLC, Signature Auto Group, Inc., and VIP Autos, LLC for rolling back odometers on vehicles sold to customers, falsifying title documents when selling vehicles to customers, and selling vehicles directly to retail customers.

After an investigation, WisDOT said the DMV determined that all three dealers violated Wisconsin state law. Due to the nature of the violations, the department took immediate action revoking each license.
