    Flags ordered at half-staff on Monday in honor of Air Force Tech Sgt. who died in Alaska

    Gov. Andy Beshear ordered U.S. flags to be at half-staff on Monday at all state buildings in honor of a technical sergeant who died in Alaska, according to a release .

    Tech. Sgt. Andrew Hemsath died on July 5 while on active duty with the U.S. Air Force in the Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska. He was assigned to the 355th Fighter Generation Squadron.

    Hemsath's family is doing a private service and burial for him on Monday.
