    Lane closures to begin on Monday in Randolph County

    ELKINS, W.Va. (WBOY) — Lanes will be closed on County Route 1/5 (Pearcy Road) beginning on Monday to allow for pipe replacement.

    The West Virginia Department of Transportation (WVDOT) stated in a release on Friday that work will take place 1.76 miles from the intersection of County Route 11 (Laurel Mountain Road) between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. beginning Monday, July 22 until Tuesday, July 23.

    Bridgeport Police Department investigating series of vehicle break-ins

    The release also states that special accommodations will be made for emergency vehicles and the United States Postal Services. All other drivers should expect delays or take alternative routes.
