Jets' Breece Hall makes bold claim about Aaron Rodgers-led offense

It wasn't as boisterous as Keyshawn Johnson's "just gimme the damn ball" request, but New York Jets ' running back Breece Hall is apparently expecting the lion's share of touches on offense.

With future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers healthy and set to take all the snaps, Hall laid out his vision for the offense while appearing on the Up & Adams show.

"Me being the bell cow of the team, I'm gonna be getting the ball the most other than him. I'm gonna be touching the ball the most, so, for me, I'm trying to put our team in the best position possible," said Hall.

Showing no ill effects of the ACL tear that prematurely ended his promising rookie season, Hall served as the Jets' primary ball carrier in 2023 and proved greatly effective . The 2022 second-round draft pick totaled 1,585 scrimmage yards (second most amongst NFL running backs) on 299 touches last year.

Hall carried 223 times and led all players at his position by making 76 pass receptions. He played 61 percent of New York's offensive snaps.

"I want everybody to kind of follow, obviously, we're following Aaron's lead, but I feel like everyone looks at me as well in that same aspect if I'm the best playmaker on the team. Our offense goes as I go," said Hall.

The 23-year-old Hall is a physical runner with great acceleration. He exceeded the 20.5 mph in last season's opener, which was his first game action after suffering the ACL tear.
