    Who is Too Hot to Handle's Desiree Burch as fans flock to Netflix for season 6

    Too Hot to Handle returned to Netflix with another season.

    Season six premiered on Friday , July 19 with four new episodes. Viewers will now have to wait until the following Friday, July 26, for episodes five to seven to be released and episodes eight to 10 on Friday, August 2. The upcoming season will welcome 10 new contestants to a villa and are being tested by keeping their hands and lips to themselves in order to win at the end. If a contestant breaks the rule, the prize money goes down.

    Keeping an eye on the contestants is Lana, a cone device with a speaker that communicates to the contestants with challenges and more. Lana is voiced by Desiree Burch.

    Who is Desiree Burch?

    Desiree is more than just a cone, she is an award-winning stand-up comedian and panelist. According to Oprah Daily, a comedy set from 2017 "foreshadowed her gig" for the dating experiment show. She spoke about her own romantic experience as she used to be a dominatrix. She worked as one in her early 20s when living in New York.

    "It's one of those things I wanted to say that I had done. I got paid to beat guys up, which is what every woman wants," she said as a joke on The Jonathan Ross Show.

    She wanted to do it since she felt sheltered from the dating world since she was raised by an Evangelical family in Los Angeles, California. She was even a virgin when she started. Desiree attended Yale University and earned a Bachelor's degree majoring in Theatre Studies.

    Desiree has appeared on Jack in the Box, A Castle for Christmas, The Horne Section TV Show, The Sandman and more. She has hosted Flinch, a physical game show on Netflix, debuted in May 2019. Desiree even voiced for Mayor Pamela Winchell in Welcome to Night Vale , a podcast.

    How long has Desiree narrated Too Hot to Handle?

    Desiree started to narrate for the Netflix series since the very beginning. The series premiered in April 17, 2020 and now, has a total of six seasons and more could possibly come.
