Beautiful summer weekend, comfortable humidity

High pressure will build eastward, ensuring dry air and mostly sunny weekend, and a light northerly flow of air. Temperatures warmed into the mid-80s. Skies will be partly cloudy tonight, along with a full Buck Moon. Morning readings will range from the upper 50s to low 60s.

High clouds will filter the sunshine on Sunday, as a weak upper-level wave passes to the south. Isolated showers will remain southeast of the Ohio River.

A southerly flow will develop on Monday as high pressure shifts farther east, resulting in an increase in humidity. Scattered showers and a few storms are possible across the southern half of the state.

Seasonably warm and humid conditions will prevail next week, with opportunities for scattered showers and storms, with a frontal boundary in the vicinity stalling out. High temperatures will generally peak in the mid-80s due to persistent cloud cover and scattered rain chances.
