Flash Flood Warning issued for Bernalillo County

LINCOLN COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Flash Flood Warning on Saturday.

Until 10:45 p.m., the Flash Flood Warning is in effect for Bernalillo County and north-central Valencia County. Impacted areas may include Los Lunas, Bosque Farms, Isleta Pueblo, Peralta, and Interstate 25 between mile markers 205 and 212.

Another warning was issued on Saturday, affecting the South Fork Fire burn scar in south-central Lincoln County.

Authorities with the Village of Ruidoso said the following areas need to find higher ground : Upper Canyon, Cedar Creek, Brady Canyon, or near the Rio Ruidoso . The White Mountain Relief Center is open for those displaced by the flooding. Visit this link to see announcements from the village.

Additionally, there is a Flash Flood Watch issued for several other areas from Sunday afternoon to Sunday night. Some listed places include the Albuquerque Metro, Santa Fe Metro, and Sandia and Manzano Mountains. See more locations by clicking here.
