When a popular country music star invites the cast of a hit new movie onstage, the results are bound to go viral.

This was the case for a surprise onstage moment captured during a Luke Combs concert on Friday, July 19. Twisters , the sequel to the 1996 disaster film Twister , officially arrived in theaters that same day, and Combs found a fun way to celebrate when several of the film’s cast members attended his show at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

As seen in videos going viral on Saturday, July 20, Twisters stars Glen Powell , Daisy Edgar-Jones and Anthony Ramos marched out onto the stage in the middle of the concert at the “When It Rains It Pours” singer’s invitation. After greeting Combs, 34, with handshakes and hugs, the actors prepared cans of beer to shotgun and lined up on the stage, waiting for the “go” moment.

Once it arrived, the trio and Combs all threw their heads back to chug the beer, with Combs and Powell triumphantly tossing their empty cans to the side once they had finished. Powell then gamely finished the rest of the beer in Edgar-Jones' can as Combs resumed his performance.

Powell, 35, shared a video clip of the now-viral moment on Instagram Stories, tagging Combs, his co-stars and the movie’s official Instagram account in the process.

Edgar-Jones, 26, shared a similar clip on Instagram Stories, writing, “So this happened 🤯.”

Ramos, 32, provided a longer version of the video in a Saturday post on TikTok . The video began with a view of Ramos, Edgar-Jones and Powell gathered backstage with their beer cans already in hand. It then showed them walking out onstage before they faced their moment of truth.

“Bucket list 📋✔️ Stormchasers had to pull up on Luke Combs last night. What a movie. Thank you for having us out 🌪️🫂,” the Hamilton actor wrote in his TikTok caption.
