While his fighting career has been dormant for the past three years, Conor McGregor continues to find other endeavors to keep him occupied.

According to a report from Sunday World , the former UFC
two-division champion will launch a record label, entitled Greenback Records, in his native Ireland. McGregor will partner with Richard Buck, will serve as CEO, and Julian O’Brien, who is creative director and head of A&R, for what is the first major record label based in Dublin. Greenback Records has reportedly signed several artists, who will be officially announced in the coming weeks.

“I am excited to create Ireland’s first major record label in an industry that I have had great interest in for some time,” McGregor said. "To be able to come in and offer music artists a fair deal and properly reward them for their talent.

"This industry, like others, has needed an overhaul for a long time. I am excited for myself, McGregor Sports & Entertainment, to partner with Richard and Julian as founders to bring Greenback Records to life!”

Through Greenback Records, McGregor plans to offer artists partnership deals and profit shares that are “currently unheard of in the industry.”

McGregor has multiple ventures outside of his fighting career. He was extremely successful with his Proper No. Twelve Whiskey, which he sold for a reported $600 million. He has also founded Forged Irish Stout beer and opened his own pub/restaurant, The Black Forge Inn. This past April, the “Notorious” made his major motion picture debut in the “Roadhouse” remake alongside Jake Gyllenhaal, as it debuted on Prime Video.

After coaching opposite Michael Chandler on “The Ultimate Fighter 31,” McGregor was expected to make his Octagon return against the ex-Bellator champ at
UFC 303 on June 29. However, a broken toe forced McGregor to withdraw from the event. The bout is rumored to be in the works for December, but nothing has been confirmed at this point in time.
