CMLL Tournament Announced, Winner To Face MJF For The AEW International Title On 8/2

MJF is coming to Arena Mexico on August 2 to defend the AEW International Championship, and we now know how his opponent will be determined.

During the July 19 CMLL event, AEW International Champion MJF made a surprise appearance via satellite to announce he’ll be coming to Arena Mexico on August 2 to defend his newly won title. We now have an update as to who his opponent might end up being.

CMLL took to social media this afternoon to announce a one-night tournament that will take place on July 23 to determine who will challenge MJF for the AEW International Championship next month.

The tournament consists of the following wrestlers:

• Templario
• Flip Gordon
• Valiente
• Esfinge
• Rugido
• Zandokan Jr.
• Stuka Jr.
• Averno
